Digital Arts GmbH is the original developer of "Genetic Photo Optimizer" and co-founded Q-Research, Inc. in the Seattle area in June 1998, which later was renamed to QBeo, Inc. During the founding process, all assets and intellectual property from Digital Arts GmbH were transferred to QBeo, Inc, including the technology which later was known as the award-winning ImageOp™ technology (The PhotoGenetics™ software, which is based on ImagOp™ was honored as “Consumer Product of the Year” 2000 by the Washington Software Alliance)
The Xe847 technology was developed from scratch by the same team that created the ImageOp™ engine. Utilizing a completely different technology Xe847 takes digital imaging to a whole new level of quality and simplicity. Xe847 analyzes the photo and automatically reconstructs what the photographer has seen, taking into account lower physiological as well as some higher psychological effects,
